BIM-based Acoustic Simulation

A&M Campus Model

This is the model of Texas A&M main campus (150" x 105"). Topography is routed with CNC routers, and roads and parking lots are scored on it with laser cutters.
Train Station

This project is modeled in Revit Architecture using adaptive components and exported as STL file for 3D printing. Rhino was used for cleaning the meshes of the STL file.
Parametric CAD for Housing Master Plan

This is an attempt to parametrize AutoCAD to be used in housing complex master plan. When the design process is heavily dependent on AutoCAD, it was hard for design companies to switch AutoCAD to BIM tools because of many barriers. This is a prototype of Parametric AutoCAD that functions as a semi-BIM tool which provides designers the functions of BIM and familiar interface of AutoCAD.
Design Evaluation System for Architect License Exam

2005
Architect License exams are hand drawn and evaluated manually by experts in Korea. This funded research introduces a digital system to take the license exam and use an algorithm to evaluate the overall performance of each design.
